Features a unique mix of timeless and memorable music incorporating a wide variety of classic hits, deep tracks and softer sounds spanning several decades of popular music, including the ‘60s and ‘70s with a touch of the ‘50s and ‘80s. Our unique music library consists of over 3500 songs. We play more than 350 DIFFERENT songs per day with no repeats! In this market, no other radio station features this “one of a kind” format. WGTO, serves the immediate Cassopolis / Dowagiac area of southwest Michigan and northeast Indiana including the South Bend, and Elkhart, Indiana area.

  • WGTO (branded as MeTVfm/WGTO 97.1 FM & 910 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a MeTVfm format


  • It is licensed to Cassopolis, Michigan broadcasting on AM frequency 910 and South Bend, Indiana on FM Frequency. It is under ownership of Langford Broadcasting LLC.


  • WGTO was designed and built by longtime Chicago radio personality Larry Langford 

 

  • WGTO (branded as MeTVfm/WGTO 97.1 FM & 910 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a MeTVfm format


  • It is licensed to Cassopolis, Michigan broadcasting on AM frequency 910 and South Bend, Indiana on FM Frequency. It is under ownership of Langford Broadcasting LLC.


  • WGTO was designed and built by longtime Chicago radio personality Larry Langford in 1987 as WLLJ. WGTO is the last station to be built under the AM daytime rules of the Federal Communications Commission. After the Construction Permit for this station was authorized in 1986 no further applications were accepted for stations wanting to operate Daytime Only.


  • WGTO uses 2 Towers in a directional pattern. The station operates at 1,000 watts Daytime Power, and 35 watts Nighttime Power.


  • In June 2016, the FM translator moved to a new frequency of 97.1 MHz with call sign W246DV. The new translator broadcasts with an ERP of 250 watts, from a tower close to the University Notre Dame., and extends WGTO's FM coverage from the immediate Cassopolis/Dowagiac area to include a larger portion of southwestern Michigan as well as the South Bend, and Elkhart, Indiana area.
